I know I know… the previous post wasn’t a holiday song, nor was it a song from a Broadway show, but I figured I’d make an exception for a lovely Broadway talent getting to perform live in front of millions in NYC and at home. Doesn’t happen very often, and it was after all a performance made on this day a year ago.
Now — I’ve decided to take at least a month hiatus from YDB starting tomorrow. Thank you all for following for however long you did. And thanks to those of you -you know who you are- who helped me along the way. I started this page in July of 2011 and I love that, with the exception of a few holidays, I was able to avoid repeating a show. (Which comes to around 500 being posted!) I loved seeing people comment on how they had never heard of a show or a performer, or that they had heard of a show but never got around to checking it out and then decided to immediately do so. Times like those really made the effort of finding something less familiar worth it.
I didn’t manage to sort out what I wanted to do with YDB as planned — seems like it’s going to take some more time. As soon as I figure it all out, a post will be made here, so keep an eye out!
Once again, thank you all, and Happy New Year!! :)
